The short version
- You own the pages you design and the files you export. We only use them to run the service for you.
- The Free plan costs nothing. Pro and Business are annual subscriptions that renew automatically until you cancel, and you can cancel online at any time. Pro Lifetime is a one-time purchase.
- Every plan covers personal and classroom use. Selling pages or using them in client work requires Business.
- Don't use Print A Page to infringe others' rights, forge documents or abuse the service.
- Check your prints before relying on them. We provide the editor as is, and our liability is limited.
- Most disputes are resolved individually through arbitration, and you can opt out within 30 days.
This summary is for convenience only. The full Terms below are the binding agreement.
Agreement to these Terms
These Terms of Use (the "Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Pixel King Designs ("Pixel King Designs", "we", "us" or "our"). They govern your access to and use of Print A Page, including our websites, the browser-based editor, exports, templates, presets and related services (together, the "Service").
By purchasing a plan, clicking to accept, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Please read section 21 carefully. It requires most disputes to be resolved by binding individual arbitration, waives class actions and jury trials, and explains how to opt out.
Who may use the Service
You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live, to purchase a plan. If you are under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
Schools and educators. Teachers and schools may let students under 13 use pages and materials created with the Service. If you are an educator or school and your use involves students' personal information, you are responsible for obtaining any consent required by law, including under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), and for using the Service in line with your school's policies. Children under 13 may not purchase a plan.
You may not use the Service if you are barred from doing so under applicable law, including sanctions and export laws (see section 23).
License keys
- Print A Page has no passwords. Paid plans are unlocked by signing in with the email address you used at checkout, using a one-time code we email to you, or with the license key that our payment provider emails to you after purchase.
- Each license can be active in up to 3 browsers at a time (5 on Business). Signing out, or removing the license, in one browser frees it for another.
- Give an accurate email address at checkout, because receipts, renewal reminders and notices are sent there.
- Keep your license key private. You are responsible for use of your key unless it results from our failure to take reasonable security measures.
- Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you think someone else is using your key.
- License keys are for individual use (or your organization's, on Business). You may not share, sell or transfer a key except through features we provide for teams.
Using the Service for an organization
If you use the Service on behalf of a company, school, district or other organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms. In that case, "you" includes the organization. If your organization has signed a separate order form, quote, master agreement or data processing agreement with us, that document controls where it conflicts with these Terms. For volume licensing, invoicing or a data processing agreement, contact [email protected].
Plans
| Plan | What it includes | Permitted use |
|---|---|---|
| Free | 24 paper styles and the core editing tools. PDF exports of up to five pages, which carry a small Print A Page footer. | Personal and classroom |
| Pro (annual) | All paper styles and tools, clean exports in every supported format, batch generation of up to 500 pages, and new paper styles while subscribed. | Personal and classroom |
| Pro Lifetime (one-time) | Everything in Pro for the life of the product, as described in section 6, including template packs released while you hold the license. | Personal and classroom |
| Business (annual) | Everything in Pro, plus a commercial license, unbranded exports, priority support and invoices. | Personal, classroom and commercial |
"Personal and classroom use" means use for yourself, your household, or students and colleagues at a school where you teach, including free handouts and internal school materials. It does not include selling pages, producing them for clients, or using them in products or services offered for a fee. That is "commercial use", which requires a Business plan.
Plans may be tied to a license key that we or our payment provider issue to you. Keep your license key private; it is for your use only (or your organization's, on Business). Plan features are described on our pricing page and may change over time, as described in section 16.
Subscriptions, billing and automatic renewal
Payment
Payments are processed by our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy. If that provider acts as the merchant of record, it is the seller of the order, it collects and remits sales tax or VAT, and its checkout terms also apply to your purchase. You authorize us and our provider to charge your payment method for all fees when due. Prices are in US dollars unless stated otherwise and exclude taxes, which you are responsible for paying except taxes on our income. If a payment fails, we may retry the charge, ask you to update your payment details, or move you to the Free plan.
Cancellation
You can cancel at any time, online, from the customer portal linked in your purchase receipt, with no need to call or email. You can also cancel by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep paid access until then, and you will not be charged again.
Pro Lifetime
Pro Lifetime is a one-time purchase. It never renews and is never charged again. "Lifetime" means for as long as we offer Print A Page, not for your lifetime or ours. It includes editor updates and every template pack released while you hold the license. If we discontinue Print A Page, we will give Lifetime customers at least 90 days' notice and a reasonable way to export their work. A Lifetime license is personal, and you cannot transfer or resell it.
Founding and promotional prices
Founding prices offered at launch are available for a limited time. Every subscription, including one at a founding price, renews at the price you paid when you subscribed for as long as it stays active. If you cancel and subscribe again later, the price at that time applies.
Reminders and price changes
For annual plans, we send a reminder before each renewal, using the email address you gave at checkout, stating the renewal date, the amount and how to cancel. Where required by law, we also send an annual reminder for other plans. If we change our prices, the change applies only to new subscriptions; an active subscription keeps the price you paid.
Upgrades and downgrades
If you upgrade, the change takes effect right away and any proration is shown at checkout. If you downgrade, the change takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Free trials and promotions
We may offer free trials or promotional pricing. We will tell you before you start a trial whether it converts to a paid subscription, when the first charge will happen, how much it will be and how to cancel. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged. Promotional pricing applies only for the stated period, after which the regular price applies.
Refunds
If you are not satisfied, you can request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase or renewal. To request one, email [email protected] and include your order number. After 14 days, payments are non-refundable, except as described in sections 16 and 20 or where the law requires.
Nothing in these Terms limits any refund or cancellation rights you have under the law of the place where you live.
Your content
You own your content. "Your Content" means the designs, layouts, text, data, spreadsheets, logos, images and other material you create, upload or import, and the files you export. As between you and us, you keep all rights in Your Content.
The license you give us. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, reproduce, display and transmit Your Content only as needed to provide, secure and support the Service for you, and for no other purpose. Your designs are stored in your own browser, not on our servers, and this license ends when you stop using the Service.
Your responsibilities. You confirm that you have all the rights needed to use Your Content with the Service, including any logos, trademarks, photos, fonts and personal information you upload, and that Your Content does not violate these Terms or the law. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of important files.
We do not use Your Content to train artificial intelligence models.
Printing and use of your pages
You may print, copy and distribute the pages you create with the Service for the uses your plan permits (see section 5). On the Business plan, that includes selling them and using them in client and commercial work. In every case, your use is subject to these Terms and to the rights of others in any content you add. You may not resell, sublicense or redistribute our paper templates, presets or design assets on their own, as a template pack or library, or in a product that competes with the Service.
Print results depend on your printer, driver settings, paper and scaling. Print at actual size (100%) and check a test page before printing in volume. Pages made with the Service are not certified for any regulated or safety-critical purpose. Examples include official forms, financial records, engineering or architectural drawings, and range targets used with firearms. You are responsible for checking that a page is fit for your intended use and for following all applicable safety rules.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service, or help anyone else use it, to:
- infringe or misappropriate anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other rights;
- create counterfeit, forged or fraudulent items, such as fake tickets, currency, identity documents, certificates, official forms or records;
- create or share content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative of minors, or that promotes violence;
- process children's or students' personal information without the consents the law requires;
- upload malware or interfere with, probe or overload the Service or its security, including through automated, scripted or excessive use of batch generation;
- scrape, copy or harvest the Service, our templates or other users' data except through features we provide;
- reverse engineer, decompile or try to derive source code, except where the law expressly permits this despite this restriction;
- get around plan limits, export restrictions, watermarks or access controls, or share Pro access with people who are not licensed;
- build a competing product using the Service, or use it to benchmark one without our written permission; or
- break any applicable law or regulation.
We may investigate suspected violations and take appropriate action, including removing content, suspending or ending licenses, and cooperating with law enforcement.
Our intellectual property
The Service, including its software, editor, paper templates, presets, workspace themes and animations, design assets, text, graphics, and the Print A Page and Pixel King Designs names and logos, belongs to Pixel King Designs or its licensors. It is protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal or internal business purposes, under the plan you are on. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Feedback
If you send us ideas, suggestions or feature requests, we may use them without restriction or any obligation to you. This does not give us any rights in Your Content.
Third-party services and content
The Service may rely on or link to third-party services, such as payment processors, hosting providers, font services and websites we do not control. Your use of them may be governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and share personal information, including information about children and students, and how you can exercise your privacy rights. It forms part of these Terms.
Changes to the Service
We continually improve the Service and may add, change or remove features. If we make a change that materially reduces the core functionality of a paid plan during a billing period you have paid for, we will tell you in advance where practicable. If you cancel because of that change, you may ask for a prorated refund of the unused portion. Beta or preview features are offered "as is" and may change or be discontinued at any time.
We aim to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and the Service may be unavailable for maintenance, updates or reasons beyond our control. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, no service-level commitment applies.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service, templates, presets and exports are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement and accuracy. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that printed output will match your expectations on every printer, paper or setting.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pixel King Designs and its owners, employees, contractors and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or printing costs, arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) US $100.
These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, such as liability for fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify and hold harmless Pixel King Designs and its owners, employees and contractors from and against any third-party claims, damages, losses and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of Your Content, your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or third-party right. We will promptly notify you of any such claim, and we may take part in the defense with counsel of our choice at our own expense.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or if your use poses a security or legal risk to us or others. Where reasonable, we will give you notice first and a chance to fix the problem. If we end a paid subscription without cause, we will refund the prepaid fees for the unused period.
Your designs are stored in your own browser, so ending your access does not delete them. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including sections 9, 11, 12, 17–19, 21, 22 and 25.
Dispute resolution and arbitration
Informal resolution first. Before starting a formal proceeding, you and we each agree to try to resolve any dispute informally for at least 60 days, starting from written notice sent to [email protected] (for notices to us) or to the email address you gave at checkout (for notices to you). The notice must describe the dispute and the relief sought.
Binding individual arbitration. If the dispute is not resolved informally, it will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, or its Commercial Arbitration Rules for business users, before a single arbitrator. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section. Arbitration may take place by video, by phone, on written submissions, or in the county where you live. We will pay arbitration filing and administration fees above any amount you would pay to file in court, as the applicable rules require.
Exceptions. Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court, and either party may seek injunctive relief in court for infringement or misuse of intellectual property.
Class action and jury waiver. You and we each agree to bring claims only in an individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective or representative proceeding, and each of us waives the right to a jury trial.
Mass filings. If 25 or more similar arbitration demands are filed by or with the help of the same counsel or coordinated parties, they will be administered in batches under the applicable rules, and the parties will cooperate in good faith to resolve them efficiently.
30-day opt-out. You can opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing [email protected] within 30 days after you first accept these Terms, with your name, the email address you used at checkout and a clear statement that you opt out of arbitration. Opting out does not affect any other part of these Terms.
If the class action waiver is found unenforceable for a particular claim, that claim must be severed and heard in court, and the rest of this section still applies. This section does not apply where prohibited by the law of the place where you live.
Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to section 21, the state and federal courts located in Passaic County, New Jersey have exclusive jurisdiction, and you and we consent to personal jurisdiction there. If you are a consumer living outside the United States, you also keep the benefit of any mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence.
Export controls and sanctions
You may not use or export the Service in violation of U.S. or other applicable export control and sanctions laws. You confirm that you are not located in a comprehensively sanctioned country or region, and that you are not on any U.S. government restricted-party list.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or in the Service at least 30 days before they take effect, unless the change is required sooner by law or addresses security or misuse. The updated Terms apply from their effective date. If you do not agree, you may stop using the Service and cancel before then. Changes to section 21 do not apply to disputes already notified to us.
General terms
- Entire agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any order form or agreement referred to in section 4 make up the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, with notice to you.
- Severability and waiver. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
- Force majeure. Neither party is liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
- Electronic communications and notices. You agree to receive notices electronically. We send notices to the email address you gave at checkout, and you send notices to [email protected].
- Independent parties. No agency, partnership or employment relationship is created by these Terms.
- Language and headings. Headings are for convenience only. If we provide a translation, the English version controls to the extent permitted by law.
